Many sunscreens contain chemicals that harm marine life. When we swim or shower, sunscreen may wash off and enter our waterways causing mass bleaching, damage to the DNA and kill the coral reefs of our world. Every year the most commonly used chemical UV-filter, Oxybenzone, alone contributes to around 10% of coral bleaching. This natural and sustainable sunscreen from Standard Procedure doesn't contain benzophenone, oxybenzone, octinoxate, any nano elements or any of the chemicals that harm us and our oceans. If a sustainable products, from a truly sustainable brand wasn't enough, top it with a cool brand and the best sun cream we have ever tried! Have fun, protect your skin and save the planet!

They are packaged in plastic bottles due to the Australian Law that says that for a sunscreen it needs to come in a packaging with food-grade virgin plastic. The entire bottle is made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE), so it is BPA free and so you should recycle it in the plastic recycling bin, it will be recycled and hopefully they end up in your hands another day in the form of a new product.
