Toothbrush with Replaceable Head

Regular price €5,00
Title:

Believe it or not, this TIO brush is just as good bamboo toothbrushes. The brush head is replaceable so you don't even have to throw away the handle. It has no plastic from fossil fuels and much of it is compostable. This particular model is of medium hardness.

The handle of the brush and the hygienic case are made of bioplastic based on sugar cane. The brush head is made from FSC-certified wood and is 100% compostable. The bristles are also made of bioplastic, in this case obtained from responsibly collected castor oil.

To date, there are no brushes with bristles that are guaranteed to be compostable in all industrial plants. However, this option is one of the safest, as bioplastic is not derived from fossil fuels.

Use it as you would any other toothbrush. When it's worn out and you need to replace the brush head, do it as shown in the video below.

This product is an alternative to all swabs that are made of plastic or are sold in plastic packages, saving waste that would end up in our seas.

The Toothbrush with Replaceable Head comes free of packaging, protected by the hygienic case that comes with it. As for the replaceable brush heads, they come directly packaged in a 100% recyclable cardboard box.

TIO is one of the brands of Wasserneutral, a German company that aims to make people more aware of their water consumption through sustainable household bathroom products and educational work. Followed by its sister brand Hydrophil founded in 2013, TIO also complies with fair working conditions, veganism and water neutrality. This term of water neutrality is the value that the company puts on the table so that the focus is not only on CO2 emissions, but also on water.

Once the toothbrush head wears out, depending on the conditions of the industrial composting plant in your region, the bristles of the toothbrush could degrade. If you are informed about this and it is possible, throw the whole toothbrush head into the compost bin. If you are not sure about it, we suggest that you tear off the bristles from the brush head and throw the body of the brush head into the compost bin (brown) and the bristles into the common bin(grey).
